As a Director Jeremy has been responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the firm and for operations management. In addition Jeremy is heavily involved in sales and consulting engagements on behalf of the firm, utilizing his previous experience as a consultant at Accenture.
Jeremy successfully kick started and organised the first two BarCamps in Cameroon, which brought together the largest gathering of IT geeks in Cameroon and kick started initiatives such as Cameroon’s Google Technology Users Group, the Cameroon Internet Users Group and the Cameroon Linux Users Group. He has organised and co-ordinated the logistics, sponsorship, publicity, venue, catering, fast Internet connection and every other detail that goes into making a large developer focused event like this a success.
Most recently Jeremy has been responsible for developing some of the new products that Limbe Labs has released into the Cameroonian market. This involved analysing the local market, prototyping and building the products and writing the sales materials. The products produced include our specially tailored hosted VoIP platform, a Managed Services model that will work in Cameroon and productising an Internet Optimisation Appliance that enhances limited Internet connections for large number of users.

Immediately after graduating from university Jeremy was hired as a graduate Software Engineer by Teleca Ltd, suppliers of software services for all industries where mobile and wireless solutions are used, to work on Symbian Operating System projects for Nokia. Jeremy became an expert on the Symbian OS, which runs on a large majority of smartphones in the market today. During this time Jeremy was recognized as a technical expert and a strong communicator and helped prepare Nokia’s Symbian training material as well as delivering training courses on Symbian OS.

In addition to working in the various engineering teams of Openwave’s core products for the telecommunications industry Jeremy also wrote tutorials and guides for the WML language and interacted with the developer community that Openwave was fostering. Jeremy’s roles involved working in testing, development and software engineering.
